This is my tutorial for how to get Dia de los Muertos make up for halloween! Dia de los Muertos is the Mexican Day of the Dead which is a celebration of those passed that takes place on the 1st and 2nd of november each year. People honour the dead with gifts and sugar skulls. I am not an expert on Dia de los Muertos so please excuse any mistakes in my description. Please note: I'm quite pale naturally so I just used my normal foundation as a base, if you aren't as scarily white as me I suggest using a really light foundation or white facepaint first! I used normal, cheap and easy to get make up such as Revlon, Thin Lizzy, Maybelline and some products from Cosmetics Plus (CHEAP!) so there is no need to splurge for this look! I also used the 88 Matte Eyeshadow palette from Coastal Scents. I like to mix this look with pin up hair but you can do anything you like! I hope you like it and have fun!
